Ming Aralia (polyscais fruitcosa)
Native to the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia, the Ming Aralia is an indoor, ornamental versatile and decorative plant which is the epitome of house plant excellence in bonsai form. The Ming Aralia is especially interesting for its foliage - indeed the name polyscais means many-shaded, a reference to its luxurious foliage. Their stalks carry compound leaves with up to seven or more leaflets. Unlike many plants that branch sideways the Ming Aralia grows vertically. The Arailia is very easy to maintain in that it grows in full sun or heavy shade and is quite happy in a north window. 25 years old. 16″ x 16″ x 24″. Bald Cypress
The Bald Cypress, Taxodium distichum, is a lofty, deciduous conifer of slender, pyramidal habit. A stately tree, for parks, yards. Landscapers and land owners use this tree in wet areas. Bald Cypress trees have moderate water requirements. The needle like leaves are dark green in the spring and summer. The “cypress knees” only develop when grown in or near water for most of the year. This species is very adaptable to wet and dry sites and thrives in many soil types.

Pin Oak
The Pin Oak tree, Quercus palustris, is probably the most widely used native oak for landscaping. One of the faster growing oaks; it can grow 12 to 15’ over a 5 to 7 year period. Pin Oak trees have moderate water requirements and have a moderate tolerance to salt and alkali soils.This deciduous tree prospers in a range of soil types including wet soils. It loses it lower limbs with age. Young trees and lower branches of older trees hold leaves throughout winter.

Texana Nuttall Oak The Texana Nuttall Oak tree, Quercus texana, also known as Spanish oak, Nuttall’s oak, Texas red oak, Spotted Oak, Rock oak, and red river oak, is a large deciduous native tree of the red oak group. The Texana Nuttail tree has a wide-spreading, rounded crown. Fruits are oval acorns (to 1 1/2″ long) with scaly cups. Dark green leaves (4-8″ long) are deeply divided into 5-7 spiny, pointed lobes. The Russian Olive tree, Elaeagnus Angustifolia, is an excellent windbreak and wildlife tree. It is extremely tolerant of environmental factors. The best windbreak tree for high wind areas. Paw Paw The Paw Paw tree, Asimina triloba, is a multi-stemmed shrub or small tree with short trunk and rounded top that presents a semi-tropical appearance. Bradford Flowering Pear The Bradford Flowernig Pear, Pyrus calleryana, ‘Bradford’, is an extremely popular, vigorous growing, medium size, shade tree with outstanding clusters of white blooms in spring and very attractive terrific yellow to red to purple foliage color in fall.
