Flame Willow
The Flame Willow, ‘Salix Willow’, gets it’s name from the stems that turn red in late fall and lasts until early spring. It grows multistemmed, more like a shrub, unless trained otherwise.The Flame willow is very hardy and responds well to pruning. Plant these as specimens or in a line along a border. Osage Orange
The Osage Orange tree, Maclura pomifera, has bright green summer leaves with yellow fall color. The Osage Orange bears an inedible fruit resembling a woody orange. Native to the midwestern and southeastern United States, this species is also known as the hedge apple because it was planted in thicket-like hedge rows before the advent of barbed wire fences. A yellow-orange dye is also extracted from the wood and is used as a substitute for fustic and aniline dyes in arts and industry.

Goldstrike Apricot Tree
The Goldstrike apricot has large and firm fruit. The fruit is round to slightly oval and is very large when well-thinned. The skin is a light-orange color and slightly glossy. A reddish blush covers up to 20% of the side that is exposed to the sun. The flesh is light orange, firm, meaty and moderately juicy. Some acidity is associated with the skin. Goldstrike trees bloom heavily but fruit set is often moderate to light under natural pollination. This apricot has excellent eating quality. It will cross-pollinate with the Goldbar.
