The Kamagata is a slow growing cultivar with 7 lobed palmate (deeply divided) serrated leaves which emerge yellow-green with bronze red margins. Taiwan Ficus-Medium (Ficus Retusa)

Also known as Banyan Fig. The Retusa has small dark green leaves which alternate up the stem and which are more oval than the Benjamina. Grey to reddish bark dotted with small horizontal flecks, similar to tiger-like markings. All have a heavy trunk and many with exposed or aerial roots. Canadian Hemlock

The Canadian Hemlock tree, Tsuga canadensis, is also called Eastern Hemlock or Hemlock spruce. This evergreen conifer is a fast-growing long-lived tree which unlike many trees grows well in shade. It may take 250 to 300 years to reach maturity and may live for 800 years or more. Shelter small plants from drying winds. They stand shearing and pruning well and are excellent as hedges. They are graceful and make great ornamental plantings.

Sweet Plum (sageretia theezans)

Small (3/4″) green leaves which are lightly veined and almost bronze when they emerge. The Sageretia sheds its bark and the trunk becomes multi-colored. Small pink-white flowers in spring give way to small black fruits (3-5mm) during the summer and into autumn. A very popular bonsai for indoors. 23 years old. 16″x12″x22″.
