A Flowering Tree is a Perfect Addition to Any Home Landscape

Although flowering bushes and shrubs are simply beautiful plants which can provide a great look to any front or back yard, there is just something about a flowering tree that makes it far superior to any bushes or shrubs. Perhaps it is because there is so much diversity and versatility amongst the flowering tree population. Or perhaps it is because trees themselves are wonderful plants which can not only provide for a stunning scene but also serve a purpose and give off shade from the blazing sun.  Whatever the reason may be, if you are looking to add a few new plants to your property, highly consider a flowering tree or two, as they provide all of the benefits of a flowering shrub but also include a few practical aspects as well.

One of the most popular flowering tree varieties has got to be the crabapple tree. This is a tree that has been described by landscapers all over the world as a tree for all seasons – a tree which has a stunning look no matter what part of the year it is. In the springtime, this tree begins to bud and flower into a million stunning colors – each of which more beautiful than the last. As the summer time rolls around, the flowers slowly begin to disappear – only to give rise to tiny apples in colors like reds, oranges and greens during the autumn. The crabapple tree is such a wonderful plant, as this tree can produce these amazing products with as little care as simply watering it regularly.

A great alternative to the crabapple tree is the magnolia tree. This tree produces flowers on the lighter range of the spectrum – whites and blues and pinks to give your yard an iridescent glow. Furthermore, there is a ton of diversity among this type of flowering tree, meaning that you have hundreds of different styles and shapes to choose from. As if this was not enough, you can easily make magnolia hybrids which can give you a completely new and different look – unlike any other tree you may have ever seen.
