The Callery Pear tree, Pyrus calleryana, ‘callery X Aristocrat cultivar’, is a tight, narrow, pyramidal, thornless, ornamental pear tree. Some specimens appear almost columnar in habit. Oval, glossy green leaves turn an attractive reddish purple in autumn. The growth habit is dense, narrowly pyramidal, and evenly branched with crisp glossy green foliage. This small tree which is native to tropical America has very small feathery, finely divided leaflets on compound leaves and has a soft medium green color. The slightly rough stems are a rich chocolate brown or grey having sharp short multiple thorns. The small, yellow, puff-like flowers are very fragrant and appear in clusters in late winter and also sporadically after each new flush of growth, providing nearly year round bloom. Also known as Larix Kaempferi. The very beautiful Larch is an unusual genus, one of the handful of deciduous conifers which is very popular among bonsai enthusiasts around the world. Unlike many conifers Larix cones are purplish in color, small and seem in proportion to most size bonsai. The color of the foliage is bright lime green at the start of the season, bright to dark green during the summer and yellow to bronze in autumn. Eastern Whitebud

The Eastern Whitebud tree, Cercis canadensis alba, is best known for their profuse white pea-like flowers. The heart-shaped leaves of this redbud tree are 3-5″ across and its fruit are brown flat pods about 2-3″ long. The trunk of this small tree usually branches close to the ground resulting in a spreading flat-topped to rounded crown. This small deciduous tree is adaptable to other soil types but will not grow well in permanently wet or poorly drained soil. It is used as an ornamental or patio tree.

Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster Microphylla)

The evergreen cotoneasters are easy-to-care-for trees whose small white flowers, appearing in early spring, are followed by tiny red berries that often cling to the branches well into the winter months. Can withstand a light frost but should be brought in for the winter months. This one-of-a-kind tree sculpture is created by prominent artist Sal Villano and is fashioned with wire gage sizes ranging from 32 to 18. The wire used is copper wire which will retain its color and strength for many years. This is the same wire that we use to train our bonsai trees.
