Native to the Fujan province of China, this tree has small white flowers that can bloom at any time. The foliage is dark green and small in size. The flowers turn into red berries that turn darker with age. Trained in the traditional curved trunk style. Loves the heat and does great indoors. 21 years old. 18″x16″x23″. Tree of a Thousand Stars. The Japonica has somewhat elongated spoon shaped, shiny evergreen leaves. It is a twiggy tree that grows tighter with shearing. This northern Chinese Serissa has small white trumpet shaped blossoms and is trained into the traditional curved trunk and tiered level style with exposed roots. Native to the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia, the Ming Aralia is an indoor, ornamental versatile and decorative plant which is the epitome of house plant excellence in bonsai form. The Ming Aralia is especially interesting for its foliage - indeed the name Polyscais means many-shaded, a reference to its luxurious foliage. Their stalks carry compound leaves with up to seven or more leaflets. Unlike many plants that branch sideways the Ming Aralia grows vertically.
