The Goldstrike apricot has large and firm fruit. The fruit is round to slightly oval and is very large when well-thinned. The skin is a light-orange color and slightly glossy. The Sweet Mock Orange, Philadephus coronarius, is a deciduous shrub. This name is probably derived from the fragrant white flowers resembling orange flowers that some species and cultivars of mock oranges have. Some mock oranges are without fragrance. The Shantung Maple, ‘Acer trucatum’, is an outstanding small tree. It has glossy, dark green star shaped foliage that remains in good condition throughout the season. It develops good fall color ranging from clear yellow to reddish purple. Its quality and adaptability make it worth growing. It is an excellent tree for small lawns and street tree use.It does well in full sun and in general seems to be quite adaptable. It of northern China but has a very large native range. It tolerates heat and alkaline soils.

The Siberian Elm tree, Ulmus pumila, is the fastest growing deciduous hedge we know of and the more you trim, the denser the hedge. Shumard Oak

The Shumard Oak tree, Quercus shumardii, is one of the largest southern red oak trees. It grows moderately fast and produces acorns every 2 to 4 years that are a bonus since they can be used by wildlife for food. A handsome shade tree, suggested as a substitute for Scarlet Oak, though not so hardy northward. The outstanding deep crimson-red fall color produced by the Shumard Oak is an excellent reason to plant this species. In urban areas, this tree has been embraced as a hardy city species.
