Pin Oak

The Pin Oak tree, Quercus palustris, is probably the most widely used native oak for landscaping. One of the faster growing oaks; it can grow 12 to 15? over a 5 to 7 year period. Pin Oak trees have moderate water requirements and have a moderate tolerance to salt and alkali soils.This deciduous tree prospers in a range of soil types including wet soils. It loses it lower limbs with age. Young trees and lower branches of older trees hold leaves throughout winter.

The Dianthus ‘Neon Star’, ‘Dianthus ‘Neon Star’, is a new and delightful Dianthus in the Star Series. With its vibrant florescent pink flowers, the blue-gray foliage adds contrast in any perennial garden. ‘Neon Star’ has a plant height of 6-9″ and a spread of 12″ and should be planted in full sun. Passion Flower

The Blue Passion Flower, ‘Passiflora caerulea ‘Passion Flower’, also known as Blue Crown Passion Flower, is an extremely fast growing hardy Passion Flower that produces egg shaped orange fruits. The flowers are ornate, multi-colored, and have a minty scent. The fruit may be eaten fresh or used in teas. In warm climates the Passion Flower will grow and bloom throughout the year. They are easy to grow in containers, but support may need to be provided. This plaant is attractive to butterflies, bees, and birds.
